About me

Both sides of the desk

I spent more than 15 years as a principal of autism and special education schools, supporting students and their families. Then my grandson Ben was diagnosed with autism, and the work became deeply personal.

I speak and lead workshops for grandparents because I know how much they want to help, and how much it matters to listen to the parents and the child first. My work brings together what I learned as an educator and what I am still learning as a grandmother.
